Today indian market open consolidate note ahead of RBI policy review. sensex and nifty perform under struggling and slipped into the red.

At 10.50 a.m., the 30-share BSE index Sensex was trading lower by 134.34 points at 28,053.60 and the 50-share NSE index Nifty was trading down by 32.85  points  at 8,510.20

Among BSE sectoral indices, IT index was down 0.47 percent, followed by healthcare 0.33 per cent, consumer durables 0.28 per cent and TECk 0.23 per cent. On the other hand, metal index gained the most by 0.74 per cent, followed by realty 0.4 per cent, auto 0.17 per cent and PSU 0.15 percent.

Today market has opened in green territory tracking broad-based buying.Sensex and Nifty is up 0.45 percent. In the first five minutes of the Nifty has crossed the 8550 level.

At 10:35 The Sensex advanced 155.52 points to 28,352 and Nifty was up 46 points at 8,571

Tata Steel, Axis Bank, ONGC, HDFC and Bajaj Auto are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers are HUL, BHEL, Hero, M&M and NTPC..

Rupee opens lower at 63.51 per dollar against Wednesday's close of 63.41.

The Sensex was up 265.39 points or 0.9 percent at 28198.29 and the Nifty gained 69.70 points or 0.8 percent at 8523.80. About 1534 shares have advanced, 1289 shares declined, and 179 shares are unchanged.

Index Heavyweights Maruti, Tata Motors, Wipro, M&M and TCS were led  gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers are Tata Steel, BHEL, Vedanta and HUL.
