The S&P BSE Sensex moved higher after opening on a subdued note and the rupee hits a new touch low 65.34 against US dollar.
The 30 share BSE Sensex index is up 57.30 points or 0.32% at 17963.21 and it was touch a high levels of 18007.27 and touch a low levels of 17759.59.
The 50 share NSE nifty index is up 8.40 points or 0.16% at 5310.95, it was touch a high levels of 5333.20 and touch a low levels of 5254.05.
Nifty gainers:- Tata steel 6.51%, JP Associate 5.93%, Ranbaxy 5.57%, Sesa Goa 4.44%, ONGC 4.05%, Bharti Airtel 4.05%, Reliance infra 3.68%, BPCL 3.39%, Jindal steel 2.71%, Hindalco 2.68%.
Nifty losers:- DLF 4.06%, Maruti 3.39%, HDFC bank 1.91%, HDFC 1.79%, ACC 1.78%, M&M 1.74%, Axis bank 1.39%, ICICI bank 1.19%, NTPC 1.15%, Hero motocom 1,02%.
Among Nifty indices:- Bank nifty down 1.14%, CNX Auto down 0.16%, CNX finance down 1.25%, CNX FMCG fall 0.31%, Infra index up 1.08%, Metals index up 2.90%.
